in 1980, in telecommunications, the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow, in 1986, in physics and mathematics, and the Doctor of Sciences degree from the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University), Moscow, Russia, in 1997, in microwave techniques and computer engineering. From 1984 to 1989, he was with the Research Institute of Space Instrument Design, Moscow. From 1989 to 2000, he was with the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. In 1993, he became an Associate Professor, in 1999 a full Professor in the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University). From 2000 to 2001 he was with Gennum Corp., Burlington, ON, Canada. From 2001 to 2005, he was with McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada. He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Norwegian Technology and Science University-NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. He has authored over 100 publications, 14 inventions and a text-book on electromagnetism and microwave techniques. His research interests include electromagnetics, development and design of microwave and high-speed three-dimensional integrated circuits, digital space-time modulated signal components and topological computing, quantum computations and microwave bioelecromagnetics.
He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Wave Physics and Radioengineering System (Russia), the International Journal Ecology-XXI (Moscow-Berlin) and the Internet Journal Noosphere (Toronto, ON, Canada). He was a Co-Chair of the SPIE Conference on Terahertz and Gigahertz Photonics and Electronics (Denver, 1999), Scientific Committee Member of several International Conferences on Wave Physics and Applications and International WSEAS Conferences on Computers and Communications. Prof. G.A. Kouzaev is a member of the International Academy Ecologica Universalis, the Trans Black Sea Region Scientific Union of Applied Electromagnetism and a board director of the Alliance of Technology and Science Specialists (Toronto, ON, Canada). He is listed in the Cambridge 13th Edition of International Who's Who of Intellectuals and in the Marquis 18PthP Edition of Who's Who in the World. Prof. G.A. Kouzaev is a Russian Government Prize Winner (1997) for his contribution to the development and modeling of three-dimensional components for space-time topologically modulated electromagnetic signals and topological computing. In 1990, he was awarded with the Soviet Union Prize for Young Scientists for his contribution to the electromagnetic modeling and developments of microwave three-dimensional integrated circuits.
